Good Samaritan Award

GoodSamaritanAwardHelp us celebrate the selfless acts of kindness at the grass roots level as we elevate expectations to help make Cedar Hill a better place.

We’ve added a new community based recognition program to honor citizens who demonstrate our community values, exceptional service and assistance to others in need.  The purpose of the award is to give citizens the opportunity to nominate someone from the Cedar Hill community, their neighborhood or someone who serves our community that has made a difference in their lives or the lives others. We look forward to hearing from you and providing the kind of recognition that great people deserve for great deeds well done.

Eligibility

Any Cedar Hill resident.

Process

A community member can nominate another resident. The nomination should outline the charitable activity, providing sufficient detail for the committee to select award recipient(s). Tell us a little about yourself and the nominee. Let us know their good deed(s) and how they have impacted your life or the lives of others in a positive way. Complete the form online by clicking on the link below.

Recognition

Citizens will receive a Certificate of Recognition for receiving the Good Samaritan Award, a photo with the City Council, will be featured in a spotlight in the City Highlights newsletter and the City of Cedar Hill website.
