About the Recreation Center

Whether for work or family celebration, the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center features 5,400 square feet of versatile meeting space. Book a room for the following events:

• Birthday parties
• Meetings
• Receptions
• Special events
• Weddings

Rental Policy

The flexible rental policy allows you to reserve space up to 12 months in advance, or as few as 14 days prior to your event. However, all reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking is advised.

Versatility is essential in any facility and the Recreation Center offers you the option of using the entire meeting space as one room or dividing the area into separate spaces, up to four individual rooms. Each room has dual-entry options with scenic views.

The Alan E Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center facility offers:

• 50-inch plasma TVs
• Adjacent outdoor access with pond view and cascading fountain
• Full commercial kitchen
• High-tech audio / visual system including:
• Laptop and CD / DVD compatibility
• LCD projectors with drop-down screens
• Open catering and vendor policy
• Table and chair rental with customized arrangement
• Wireless microphone system

Gymnasium & Aerobics

In addition to meeting/reception space, the gymnasium and aerobics room are available for special events.
